The Facility Use Guidelines and Fee Structure were updated by the JTASD Board of Education on June 24, 2024. For any groups requesting to use our facilities, please see the Facilities Request link on the JTASD website for the updated information.
As was advertised, the Jim Thorpe Area Board of Education will conduct their June Committee Meeting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, and their June voting meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 24. Both meetings will be held at the high school.
Are you interested in becoming a bus or van driver for the Jim Thorpe Area School District? On June 19 and 20, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the high school library, our bus contractor will be available to answer questions, fill out on-site paperwork, and provide applications for those that cannot stay to complete the paperwork. With the timing of the possible heavy ice arriving in our higher elevations making an early dismissal not possible and our regular dismissal possibly hazardous, the Jim Thorpe Area School District will be moving to a flexible instruction day today. Please have your students check their learning platform for assignments by 8:30. To be marked present for the day, your child must complete all of the assigned work.
